Caption: One of my most proud images of 2019. This male Polar Bear was sleeping on the fast ice edge and the scene was this perfect backlit high key scene of white on white. The bear, slowly woke up as he could smell us and gave us this perfect look. I was so fortunate to have this encounter and I have this one in my bedroom currently as well as Polar Nap.
